Holy Friendship: Cultivating the Virtue, Growing in Communion

Father Rubinich will explore friendship as a virtue, drawing from Sacred Scripture, the witness of the saints, and the rich tradition of the Church. Participants will be invited to reflect on their call not merely to connection, but to true communion - with God and with one another - as members of the Body of Christ. The presentation will also offer concrete and practical steps for growing in the virtue of holy friendship in daily life.

Teach Me to Pray Without Worrying

We are reminded so many times that our concerns are best taken care of when we let go and let God. But how can we successfully do that while our worries, thoughts, and feelings appear to overpower our prayers? In this presentation, we will gain insights that will help us to STOP WORRYING! We will learn prayer techniques that can bring peace and resolutions for our petitions. We will learn that it is possible to let go and let God.

Guest Speaker: Fr. Manuel Duenas

Lent as a Journey of Conversion. What does it really mean?

This talk aims to clearly explain two key concepts of the Catholic faith: Original Sin and Redemption, exploring their connection to Lent and Easter. Lent invites us to confront the reality of our human condition, marked by original sin and its ripple effects in our daily struggles, while guiding us toward the joy of Easter, where we celebrate Christ's triumph over sin and death. The Church invites us not merely to observe this victory as someone else's, but to become recipients of God's grace made available through the gift of Redemption.

Guest Speaker: Fr. Lynx J.M. Soliman

Tradition: Holy Week and Easter

The Church invites us to unite ourselves to Christ's sacrifice through prayer, penance, and reverent worship. Fr. Lynx will explain how these ancient and sacred traditions dispose our souls to receive the grace of Easter, so that we may celebrate the Resurrection not only with joy, but also with truly converted hearts.
