25 RCIA Inquiry
RCIA: What’s It All About? Who Is It For? What exactly is the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the way in which the Catholic Church invites adults who are unbaptized or baptized in another Christian tradition to hear the message of Jesus Christ and to consider becoming part of our Church community. The RCIA also reaches out to baptized Catholic adults who want to celebrate their Confirmation and Eucharist. The RCIA process invites members of our parish to gather with those who are inquiring into our church to share their thoughts and ideas about being a part of a vibrant faith community.
The RCIA is the church community’s way of welcoming new members with great joy! If you know of someone in your family, neighborhood or workplace who may be interested in hearing more about the RCIA, please share this invitation to attend one of our RCIA information gatherings with them. Perhaps, you could accompany a person who may be waiting for a personal invitation to become part of our faith community.
