    The front lawn of the church will be transformed into a community made of boxes.  Teenagers will spend the night outside to raise awareness for Homelessness.


    The teens will be collecting the following items to be donated to the Caldwell Food Pantry:


    Cereal, Tuna, Coffee, Tea, Kids Juices, Snacks, non –perishable food items


     Please consider donating the items requested and/or stop by to show support for our teenagers.  We will be around all night!

    The Sacrament of the Sick will be celebrated at all Masses this weekend. At the end of Mass please be seated at the end of your pew. Any family joining you may remain in the pew.  Once parishioners have exited the church, the priest will come to those remaining who wish to be anointed.  After you have received the sacrament, you may leave the church.


    If you or someone in your family is in need of this healing sacrament at another time, contact the Parish Office 973-226-0979 for a priest to come and administer the Sacrament of the Sick.

    We invite you to discover and hear about the RCIA process by attending this gathering.


     Who should attend the meeting? 


     ¨ Unbaptized adults or adults baptized in another Christian tradition who would like to explore becoming Catholic


    ¨ Baptized Catholic adults who want to be prepared for the celebration of Confirmation and Eucharist


    ¨ Interested members of our parish community who want to share their faith with new Church members


    If you know of someone in your family, neighborhood or workplace who may be interested in hearing more about the RCIA, please share this invitation with them.

  • Thanksgiving Turkey Drive

    FROZEN TURKEYS FOR THANKSGIVING are needed this year for the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. Last year the state was looking for 35,000 turkeys;


    this year the need is 30,000.  There will be a truck parked in the lower lot on the Mill St. side of the church.


    Also needed are “nonperishable” items such as stuffing, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, etc. (no glass jars please)


    Turkeys will be distributed to the  Community Food Bank of NJ.


    All volunteers are welcome, including students needing Community Service hours.

    Notre Dame will not be able to accept turkeys after the above date. Our freezer is broken and we have no where to store them.  Thank you.
